Encryption

Alliance AES Encryption solutions from Townsend Security let you protect information in databases at the column level on a wide variety of platforms including Windows, Linux, Unix, IBM i (AS/400, iSeries), and IBM System z Mainframe. Tokenization

An alternative to encryption is the newer tokenization technology which preserves the format of the protected data. Any application on any operating system or database platform can tokenize data and preserve the original format of the data. Alliance Token Manager supports over 20 data forms including LUHN-valid and LUHN-invalid credit card tokens, drivers license (all 50 states), social security number, and a variety of other data types.

Key Management

Proper protection of encrypted or tokenized data requires the right key management solution. Alliance Key Manager from Townsend provides a FIPS-140 certified solution to provably meet industry standards for key management.
